Image
Hi Yesterday Our teacher showed us this cool website were we could make an emoji out of words. So we had to put emotions in from a to z and it took so long thinking of some. This is my one I have a lot of different words like confused , anger and Disappointed. If you want to make your own just go on WWW.Tagul.com These are the instructions so that you can make your own. Firstly you put your words on the left hand side of your screen and on the bottom of the left side there is some words that say shapes , fonts and layouts and stuff. Click on those and you can pick your emoji and your colours and other stuff and than visualise so that it will make your emoji.

So today Des Hunt came to visit Waikowhai primary school with his wife Lynne. He is popular for writing books for kids under twelve. He spoke to us about physics and what inspired him to write books and carry on when he got rejection letters from all the authors in New Zealand. So when he was explaining physics he showed us his  invention of a barbecue litter  but it was modified so that it will make an explosion. He brought in a magic fly stick in with a ribbon. The magic fly stick made the ribbon float in the air because it was the energy that they both had.  My favourite part of the presentation was when he showed us how eels just keep growing and growing with a balloon. The balloon grew big as and than bang it exploded and everyone jumped and started laughing saying wow . Now that I have seen this presentation I will try read some more of his books because they are really interesting books they are all non fiction books. If you would like to read home of his books try go to yo

This week we have been learning information, reading books and discussing Anzac day. Our class had one cross each that had a name on it and I had Sargent d.f brown. After we placed down the crosses and we read a new book called the Anzac Violin. In the book this boy got given a violin and he only had one lesson. We had this activity to do in a group and I had my friend Conrad. The activity we had to do was adding up how many years the wars were and how long the wars took. We will remember them.
